Replacement of the fuel filter
|

Gasoline and diesel fuel are extremely flammable therefore during the work with any components of fuel system it is necessary to take special precautionary measures. You do not smoke and do not approach the venue of works with naked flame or the carrying unprotected by the lamp shade. You do not perform such works in the garages equipped with the heating devices using natural gas (such as vodogre, dryers, etc.). The working platform has to be ventilated well. At hit of gasoline on skin immediately wash away it water with soap. When carrying out any works with fuel system put on goggles and you hold near at hand the fire extinguisher. |
Petrol engines
The fuel filter is located before a back suspension bracket, on the left side under the car, at the bottom.
Removal

| 1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. It is previously necessary to remove a box of the filter of air of salon.
2. Dump pressure in the fuel tank for what quickly uncover a tank.

|
Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation study Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage of Introduction to the Management. |
3. Lift and install the car on supports.
4. Remove facing of the bottom at the left behind so that the fuel filter was available.
5. Remove the screen of fuel hoses located in front of the filter.
6. For simplification of the subsequent assembly mark fuel hoses with a tape.
7. Press fuel hoses clips, for example, of HAYET-4590.
8. Turn out the screw on the holder of the filter.
9. Remove collars of fuel hoses.
10. Disconnect fuel hoses, substitute capacity under the following fuel and wipe with the thick rag which is well absorbing fuel.
11. Take out the fuel filter. |

Installation
|

|
1. Install into place the new fuel filter.
2. Connect to the fuel filter hoses according to tags. Fix hoses by collars.
3. Fix the filter by the holder.
4. Install into place the screen of fuel hoses.
5. Establish into place facing of the bottom at the left behind.
6. Lower the car on wheels.
7. Attach a negative cable (-) to the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. Establish into place a box of the filter of air of salon. Enter a code of the radio receiver and determine time on hours. |

Diesel engine
The fuel filter is located in a motive compartment near the engine at the left.
Removal
|
|
| 1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. It is previously necessary to remove a box of the filter of air of salon.
2. Remove the top cover of the engine, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine.

|
Substitute capacity under the following fuel or enclose a thick rag. |
|
|
3. Disconnect the fuel hose (1) going to the fuel pump of high pressure (FPHP) at the fuel filter (2). For this purpose press a lock clip (3) against the stop (in the direction of an arrow), having established it in open situation, and take out a connecting element.
|
|
After that at once return a clip to a closed position. It should not be a long time in open situation. |
|
4. Release a collar for a fuel hose (4) and shift it back. Remove a fuel hose.
5. Unscrew the screw (5) on a collar (6) and take out the fuel filter. |
|
Installation
|
|
|
1. Install the new fuel filter in a collar and fix by its moment 8 Nanometers.
2. Put on a fuel hose the filter and fix it by a collar.
3. Check a sealing ring on a connecting element of the transparent fuel pipeline for existence of cracks or any damages. Check the provision of a lock collar. If the lock collar a long time was in open situation, it is necessary to replace the fuel pipeline new.
4. Put on the fuel pipeline the filter. Check reliability of its fastening, feats in different directions.
5. Attach a negative cable (-) to the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. Establish into place a box of the filter of air of salon. Enter a code of the radio receiver and determine time on hours.
6. The engine 611.962, since No. 257722, and also the engine 612.962: remove air from a fuel contour of low pressure, address the Section Removal of Air from a contour of low pressure of fuel.
7. Establish into place the top cover of the engine, address the Section Removal and installation of the top cover of the engine.
8. Start the engine and visually check fuel system for tightness. |
