1. The best way of replacement of spark plugs is preliminary purchase of new candles, adjustment of their gap and replacement of each candle in turn. Upon purchase of candles it is very important to choose those candles which are intended for the engine of your car. Information on them is provided in Specifications.
2. Having near at hand new candles, let's the engine cool down completely before removal of old. During this time it is possible to examine new candles on existence in them of defects and to check candle gaps.

Do not concern the parts which are under high voltage. The persons having a warm stimulator should not carry out any works with electronic system of ignition.

3. Remove ignition coils, address the Section Removal and installation of coils of ignition.

4. Turn out spark plugs by means of a candle key (1). At the same time you watch that the key stood directly and it was not warped.

1. Compare the taken-out candle with shown in pictures in the Head Elektrooborudovaniye of the engine, it will give you useful information about the general condition of the engine.
2. Check the probe interelectrode distance. The required value of a gap is given in Specifications.

At new candles the interelectrode distance is, as a rule, established correctly.

3. For installation of distance between contacts turn in the corresponding electrode of weight. For this purpose knock sideways on it. At a podgibaniye you oboprit the small screw-driver about edge of a carving. Do not lean at all on the central electrode as it can be damaged.
4. Apply a little cupriferous anti-taking structure on a carving of a new candle. Establish a candle in a head of cylinders and screw it fingers against the stop, then tighten by means of a head of a candle key. If it is possible, use a dynamometer key for tightening of a candle to be sure that it is established correctly. The effort of tightening of candles is included in Specifications.
Recommendations: In order to avoid a possibility of a vvinchivaniye of a candle not on a carving put on a small piece of a rubber hose or a plastic tube its shaft. The flexible tube will work as universal - the cardan hinge, providing alignment of a candle in relation to a candle nest and in case the candle begins to warp, the hose will slip on it, without giving the chance to strip a thread.
5. Before connection to a candle of a high-voltage (VV) wire carefully examine it on damages, corrosion of internal contact and measure resistance. If it considerably exceeds 30 kOhm/meter – replace all set of wires.
6. Connect a wire to the established new candle, again using rotary motion and holding the socket until it is put on a candle up to the end.
7. Repeat the procedure described above for other spark plugs consistently to avoid the wrong connection of candle VV of wires.

2. Establish to the place of the ignition coil, address the Section Removal and installation of coils of ignition.

If it becomes clear that the carving under a spark plug in a head of cylinders is damaged, it needs to be repaired. For this purpose there is the corresponding tool and a repair kit, for example, of BERU. The damaged carving is drilled by a special drill. For this purpose it is not obligatory to remove a head of cylinders. Then in a head the new carving is cut and the candle is rolled in a special transitional carving insert. In addition established carving inserts of candles sit strongly and provide tightness.

1. Disconnect a cover from an engine end face.
2. Remove the top part of the case of the air filter (only at engines with the air filter located sideways the car).
3. Remove the measuring instrument of mass of air with the soaking-up branch pipe (only at engines with the air filter located sideways the car).
4. Uncover the engine or the air filter, address the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
5. Disconnect coils of ignition (1).
6. Disunite the spark plug plug by means of a double wrench from spark plugs over a cover of a head of cylinders.
7. Turn out spark plugs.

1. Screw candles by hand against the stop in a head of cylinders and then tighten the moment 28 Nanometers.

Each cylinder has two candles. Not to mix plugs, it is necessary to mark them just as a cover on the engine (2).

2. Connect plugs to candles.
3. Install coils of ignition and fix by the moment 8 Nanometers.
4. Establish a cover of the engine or the air filter, address the Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
5. Install the measuring instrument of mass of air with a branch pipe (only at engines with the air filter located sideways the car).
6. Establish the top part of the case of the air filter (only at engines with the air filter located sideways the car).
7. Fix a cover from an engine end face.
