1 — Plafonds in a back part of salon
Inclusion and switching off of plafonds in a back part of salon: press the button.
2 — the Forward right lamp for reading

3 — Inclusion of automatic function: press the keyboard switch.
Plafonds remain switched off and in case the car opens, the door opens or the key from the ignition switch is taken out.
4 — Inclusion of automatic function:
Transfer the keyboard switch to average situation.
If in the dark the key is taken out from the ignition switch, plafonds join and with endurance of time are switched off.
Plafonds are switched off if one door in the dark opens. When opening one of forward doors a plafond in a forward part of salon, when opening one of back doors plafonds in a back part join.
If doors are closed, plafonds are switched off with endurance of time.
If the car opens in the dark, then plafonds join and with endurance of time are switched off.
5 — Inclusion of a forward plafond manually:
Press the keyboard switch. Until it is pressed the keyboard switch, the forward plafond is included.
Switching off of a forward plafond: Transfer the keyboard switch to situation 3.

Hold time after which plafonds have to be switched off after taking out of a key from the ignition switch can be determined in the LIGHTING menu (LIGHTING) of the Individual Installation system, in the menu of installation "to INT. ILLUMINATION DELAYED SWITCH-OFF" (SWITCHING OFF of INTERNAL LIGHTING WITH ENDURANCE of TIME) (Undressed the Multipurpose steering wheel, the universal display).

Lighter
1 The lighter on the average console
The lighter on the average console is in a ware compartment on the average console.

Phone - general information
Use of radio telephones in interior of the car is allowed only if they are connected to the separate external antenna.
Time of a delay of shutdown of phone
If the key is taken out from the ignition switch, phone remains included about 10 more minutes (delay time).
If during this time you use phone, phone is switched off approximately in 10 minutes after the end of a conversation.

Radio telephone in an armrest
Installation of phone
Open a compartment for phone in an armrest.
Enter phone the lower part into ledges (1) of a reception nest (2).
In a forward part press phone (3) down. The gate (4) is automatically fixed, moving to the right.
Only in this situation phone is connected to loud-speaking installation.

At not completely charged accumulator process of charging joins as soon as the key is inserted into the ignition switch.

Use of phone via the mobile control panel of a radio telephone
Taking out of phone together with the holder: Take out a reception nest (2) with phone (6) of a clamp of the holder (5) up.
Installation of phone together with the holder: Insert a reception nest (2) with phone (7) into a clamp of the holder (5) and press down to characteristic click of fixing.
Use of phone
The reception nest (2) possesses function of the receiver (arrow) for conducting telephone conversations.

Safety grid for baggage in space for legs of the forward passenger
The safety grid for baggage is provided only for transportation of easy freight.
Heavy, and also fragile objects and objects with sharp edges cannot be transported in a safety grid for baggage.
The safety grid for baggage cannot protect freight in case of accident.
Luggage carrier on a roof
Luggage carrier in front you fix only in roof laths between markings (1), and behind only in a groove (2) of a rubber level.
Tilting of a many-placed back seat

Removal and installation of the back shelf
Removal
Unhook fixing films (1).

Installation
Hang the back shelf in a fastening element.

Removal of a cap
Remove a cap (1) on a bumper from below and take out.
Removal of the plug socket
Press the button of release (3) and take out the plug socket (2) from a nest of fastening of a spherical head down.
The spherical head is in a spare wheel in an additional compartment under a trunk floor.
Installation of a spherical head
Insert a key (4) into the lock of a spherical head and rotate counterclockwise.
Delay the handle from a spherical head and rotate clockwise before fixing. The white point on a spherical head coincides with a red zone on the handle.
Enter a spherical head vertically into a reception nest of a spherical head before its automatic fixing. The handle automatically turns in such a way that the green zone (5) on the handle coincides with white marking on a spherical head.
Turn a key in the lock in the direction of an arrow (lock).
Take out a key and spread a protective cap.
There is a danger of accident!
At the movement with the trailer the spherical head has to be locked, and the key is taken out. Only in this case protection of a spherical head from unhooking is provided during the movement.
If the spherical head does not give in to locking, and a key to taking out, remove and clear a spherical head. If after cleaning to mount a spherical head it is impossible (to lock), address on one of HUNDRED "Mercedes-Benzs" for check of the traction coupling device in general.
In this case it is impossible to use the traction coupling device for towage of the trailer as reliable operation is not provided.
Fix the plug socket (2) in a fastening nest on a spherical head.

Removal of a spherical head
Press the button of release (3) on the plug socket (2) and remove the plug socket from a spherical head.
Remove a protective cap and the lock in the handle unlock a key (4).
Holding a spherical head, delay the handle up and rotate clockwise before achievement of a red zone and fixing.
Remove a spherical head down.
Insert the plug socket (2) into a nest of fastening of a spherical head and press before fixing.
Spread a cap (1) from above and record, having pressed from below.

Storage of a spherical head
Lay a spherical head with the key inserted into it in a nest in a spare wheel.
Recommendations about leaving
At pollution it is necessary to make cleaning of a spherical head and nest of fastening of a spherical head at any time easy installation and removal were provided.

After cleaning apply a butter layer or jellied lubricant on the following places:
1 fixing balls,

Oil the lock not containing acids and pitches.
Trailers with the 7-contact plug
Shtekerny connection between the car with the 13-contact plug socket and the trailer having the 7-contact plug can be provided by means of a transitional cable.
The transitional cable can be got on any HUNDRED "Mercedes-Benzs".

Power supply from network
In your car there is a possibility of connection to power supply from network of the car. If the trailer requires power supply from network of the car, then it is necessary to establish the corresponding safety lock (The head Onboard electric equipment).
