Replacement of chains of the GRM drive and installation of phases of gas distribution

Adjusting position of camshafts "40 ° after VMT of the piston of the first cylinder". All four copper plates of a chain at the same time coincide with tags of asterisks

General measures of precaution

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Turn out spark plugs for the purpose of simplification of a provorachivaniye of the engine.
3. If the return is not stipulated especially, turn the engine in the normal direction.
4. Study requirements imposed to efforts of tightening of threaded connections.
5. At the corresponding complete set mark position of the CKP sensor before its removal.
6. Do not turn a bent shaft by means of driving asterisks of the camshaft or devices.
7. Do not turn cranked and distributive shaft at the removed GRM drive chain.


Procedures of installation of phases of gas distribution

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Bring the piston of the first cylinder [1] into situation 40 ° after VMT.
2. Make sure of correctness of combination of parallel flutes of both camshafts with a cut of a head of cylinders [2].
3. Install the blocking devices [3] on camshafts.
4. Check correctness of an arrangement of adjusting tags of a balancing shaft [4].
5. Before starting implementation of repair procedures, remove assembly of a natyazhitel [5].

At installation of the piston of the first cylinder in situation 40 ° after VMT camshafts can be turned without risk of contact of valves with the bottoms of pistons.

6. At assembly bring the piston of the first cylinder into situation 40 ° after VMT and achieve combination of copperplated links of a chain with:

· Adjusting tags of asterisks of both camshafts [6];
· With an adjusting tag on an asterisk of a balancing shaft [7];
· With a spline and an adjusting tag of a bent shaft [8].

Upon completion of installation combination of copperplated links of a chain has to happen on every fourteenth turn.


Replacement of a gas-distributing chain

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove assembly of an axis of yokes of the right camshaft assembled with covers of bearings;
2. Without tightening fixture, establish a cover of fixing of the camshaft [9] (tool No. 112589054000);
3. Install devices for fixing of a chain on asterisks of camshafts (tool No. 112589044000);
4. By means of devices from the list given above connect a new chain to old on the right number of cylinders, - for putting on of a chain on asterisks turn a bent shaft.

Bolts of fastening of assemblies of axes of yokes (M7 x 84 mm) are not subject to reuse and have to be replaced.


Removal of a balancing shaft is made in the following order:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Pass a suitable blocking core throughout a counterbalance on a back pin of a shaft [11];
2. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove a counterbalance;
3. From the forward party take a balancing shaft;
4. Upon completion of repair work establish a natyazhitel.
5. In the course of assembly do not forget to grease the central bolt of a pulley of a bent shaft.

Do not block a flywheel / a driving disk at removal/installation of a bolt of a pulley of a bent shaft.
